Matters of the Heart

It really pains me to see some ppl i know who are suffering from heartbreaks..most ppl dun understand wut love reli means..they think its all about having a feeling towards sum1,feeling nervous n tongue-tied when they are near..but think again,is this gonna last?..most likely not..we all hope it does..but to make it last,there's more to it than just sum light feeling..

-Love is our willingness to put the happiness of the one we love b4 our own;self-sacrifice..most of us say we love sum1 but when it come to giving something up or going 10 extra miles for that person..we think twice..

It means that even if our feelings towards another is unrequited, we stil care n keep wanting the best for them..its not about getting back at the person for being negligent towards you or for not returning your feelings,its about unconditional love..if u love someone,u would want to see them happy..real love is giving without expecting in return..its easy to love those who love you,but the real meaning is only seen when we love even when it is not returned..

-Love is accepting someone for who they reli are..to see that no one is perfect and most of all, accepting it..then only can we truly love them for just being who they are n not for the 'perfect person' that we picture them to be..

Most of the time we are blinded by the feeling of 'falling in love'..we dun actually see their flaws..when we finally figure out that that person is imperfect lyk how all mankind are,we get shocked and give it all up..as beautiful as how roses may look, there are also sharp thorns..but we dun question the reason the thorns are there..instead,we accept that the rose is created by GOD as a beautiful flower with sharp thorns..

-Love is not judged by appearance..though very often we do so..there's always more that meets the eye

Its shallow to just notice wuts on the outside.Its the heart that matters..look beyond the surface,notice the beautiful soul that lies inside..

I often wonder,when ppl are 'in love' they say that they wil love or like the person forever..but how long is that 'forever'? does it mean 'as long as we dun fight', 'as long as u keep being the person i want u to be'or maybe even 'until the time comes when i find someone more handsome,pretty,cool,popular etc..'???

Most of us often think that its fun to 'fall in love' n be with that person..but the fun hardly lasts..after that 'falling in love' stage, there comes the real deal..jealousy,distrustfulness,confusion n lots more..we always take that special person for granted and think that the grass is greener on the other side..we never realize how much we need them until we have lost them..

All these said here are my opinions n views on this matter..i just wanna say this:

-If u have found that special someone,love them and apprieciate them..bcuz once u have lost their good opinion towards u, u may never get to win it back..n to those hu have lost someone they love or whose feelings are not returned,remember that love cannot be forced..so if u reli love them just be happy for them when they have found their happiness..
